Description
Minnie Schnauz doesn’t just know the block—she keeps it connected.
By the late 1980s, Minnie had become the steady hand behind her neighborhood community center. She organized school-supply drives, matched volunteers with families who needed a lift, and made sure every new face had a seat at the table. In her burgundy windbreaker, high-waisted denim and clean white sneakers, she carried one clipboard and enough determination for the whole crew.
Minnie never needed a spotlight. If the neighborhood needed something done, she was already at the door with a list, a plan and a warm welcome.
