Description
Supp Dawggs — “Aron” AireDale
Before Aron AireDale worked the turntables, he worked every other job at the party—hauling speakers, running cables, guarding record crates, and keeping the equipment dry when the weather turned.
His break came at a neighborhood block party when the scheduled DJ never showed. Aron opened the crates, dropped the needle, and kept the street moving until the lights came on. No tricks, no shouting over the records—just sharp timing, clean transitions, and an ear for what the crowd needed next.
By the late eighties, everybody knew Aron. Red-and-black tracksuit, bucket hat pulled low, gold rope over his wiry coat. He played schoolyards, community centers, basement parties, and any block with electricity and room to dance.
He never chased fame. He built a name by showing up early, staying late, and making sure the neighborhood sounded right.
Aron AireDale—rough coat, smooth mix.
